Stora Enso new forest road
Stora Enso has a new forest road project in Storfors, Värmland. The project has major challenges with an existing quick-clay terrace. Despite this, a reduction of a normal superstructure of 1300 mm superstructure to a superstructure of 350 mm with Neoloy Tough cells has been implemented.
The forest road is 855 meters long and requires good stability for future transport of forest. The customer’s cost-effective choice provides a sustainable environment and a +50 year sustainable forest road that is quickly completed and driveable immediately after filling the geocells.
